Too Warm to Blog

Okay, now that Spring has sprung, I can't seem to sit in front of the computer for very long. I wan't to be outside in the sun. So this is going to be short. Also, sorry about the tag game. I am the loser (because I didn't play).

Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for:

Spring Break -- and Jason being a teacher
Scotty (Don's brother) getting better
God's amazing healing power
Suntans -- Yes, I know it's bad for your skin
A quiet house at bedtime
Dogwoods
My husband who spends his time off playing with the kids, vaccuming, washing my car, and mowing the lawn :) (without being asked) thank you honey!!!!

Pictures from last week

Sorry my blog is not running in chronological order right now. . . Oh well!
These are pictures of the kids visting with Theron, Cayden, and Hardin. I love the McDonald's playground. Laura and I actually got to talk while they played.
The other pictures were taken in Orangeburg. Lenna wanted to chase the ducks instead of feed them.

Hardin. . . He was the perfect angel during their visit. . . what a precious age!

Pictures by Bridget

These last few days have been really busy, but so fun. Thursday we got to spend the day with the Newsomes (pictures to come) who were visiting from Mississippi :) Friday we went to Orangeburg and hung out with my parents and our niece Allie. Sunday and Monday were spent with Laura and her sweet children and then with Bridget and Allie. Also, we've had Lucy and Don and Daddy home on Monday and Tuesday. So, we've had a full and a very "excited" house! Times like these remind me to hold onto every precious second of childhood, a time when just the smallest things are soooo exciting and fun. Thank you, Bridget for getting these memories on film for me!

100th day of school

We celebrated Isaiah's 100th day of Kindergarten at home today. Palmer wanted a pink cake, like the one in Go Dog Go! We strung 100 Cheerios on string and tried to name 100 animals. Aside from a little toddler bickering, the day was a huge success.
